Sometimes it snows in April... New York City.
April 5th. It's snowing again. Just like last year... Does anyone else remember when it has snowed in April? I still remember when we had a snowstorm in April during high school and all the schools were closed. I had a huge grin on my face and said...Thank you, Prince!

Today the weather guy said that there may be a few flurries in western Maryland. My immediate thought was Prince. Just last night I had my husband watch The Art of Musicology (acoustic set). I then recounted my story about my first time hearing Sometimes it snows in April when I was on my way to college and it started to snow briefly in April (rare for Maryland). I left out the part about my 'friend' Tracy Christopher who I used to get all hot and heavy with. lol...I'm getting him ready for 3121 so we also watched Sheila E and Prince perform Love Bizarre at the famous SF show!!! His comments, "That guy never stops moving, he's got alot of energy, wait... is he wearing a training bra?"  | |

Yep, Prince is a Minnesota boy--he knows better than anyone about April Snow. FYI it snowed here in MPLS this April after reaching 80 two weeks prior. "New Power slide...." |

I teach at a high school in the Chicago area and threw the song on my classroom stereo when I realized it was snowing outside. The kids were surprised that I had a song for such an occasion!
Of course the better part was them asking "who's this?" so I could tell them. Keith/Kacey | |
