I just saw this letter in the gallery.



Could anybody explain what it's all about? And why it was sent to the magazine?

I love how the letter ends - "Why did you give me a pair of handcuffs for Christmas?"

The handwriting in the body of the letter seems to be from someone younger but the signature is a little more mature. hmmmmm.

She graduated from Wiesbaden High School in Germany.

I agree with you guys, it's too odd to be real. Mayte does not really seem to have a clue about what Prince is up to (ok it's P, but it still seems strange) and what "she" has written and the way "she" has written it makes it simply sound fake. Especially since it was faxed to a magazine. Smart pr though.

Prince wrote it and faxed it over to Eileen at Controversy.
It was just to give the fans a little teaser of what was going on, and to
answer (in Prince's own way) some of the questions going through
their minds at that time.
