I bought Mayte's album recently, and to be honest, it's more of a Prince album, with Mayte singing every once in a while. He sings on pretty much every song, and his voice stands out more than hers most of the time. Some of the songs are really fun. I thought it was funny that However Much U Want was the only one listed as a duet, because Prince sang more on Brick House than Mayte did!

However Much U Want is a great song, IMO. I like the uplifting , motivating lyrics about ambition and striving for better things in life. Reminds me of some old 1980´s Prince songs in many ways . I have this song in my workout mix on my mp3-player.

That album is very underrated, a lot of the songs on it would benefit from revisiting them in one form or another , whether as live renditions or re-recorded versions with Prince doing the lead singing.

These are at least four top songs, much better than most of the stuff he´s released online in the last few years ( yes, much better than Magnificent or Feel Better, Feel Wonderful or Guitar or Glasscutter, at least when it comes to the lyrics, and the music is much tighter, too.)
