I appreciate ONA. I think it's great in fact. It's just a matter of picking a least favorite of what's left. There are really only 2 Prince albums that I don't like so now it's just about nitpicking my order from what's left. It's only gonna get harder and harder. I can't understand not appreciating The Black Album. | |

That's cool, Tron. It's the people who HATE it with a passion that boggle my mind. 
The Black Album is SO overrated IMO - it's not that I hate it (though I NEVER listen to it), I'm just trying to understand how the album w/ Joy in Repetition and The Question of U is in a ditch while CindyC & Bob George are still around... I think most people love the songs on Graffiti Bridge. But an album is more than a collection of songs. With so many other artists on there, it brings it down as a whole. If it would've just been the 10 Prince tracks, I think it would be among Prince fans' favorites. Check out this rollingstone review. They give it 4 stars:

One Night Alone should not be here nor should it be considered a REAL album. It's by far Prince's WEAKEST project. Come on people ONA is BETTER than Prince? I don't think so. And if YOU think so, sing all the lyrics to me. What's that? You know Prince better than ONA??? Of course you do because Prince is a better album... Diamonds and Pearls I don't have a problem with that album is pretty weak also. ONA
