After playing weekend gigs since November at the casino's 3121 nightclub, the Purple One seems poised to hit the road in support of a new album.

Just reporting on what we already know, but nothing is official. Heck, all the pundits said March was Prince's last month in Vegas with 3121 at the Rio, and then he schedules four more weeks of dates.

But we all know Prince -- it ain't ova. When could it be ova? Only the woman knows, lol. But seriously, I would like to see Prince play through May 2007 -- that would give him 7 months at the Rio, and we all know how important the number 7 is to Prince.

And with it being May, that would be a great month for him since he seems to love, in recent years, May in Vegas. Just look at Tiger Jam in 2004, the 3121 Memorial Day weekend gigs with THE TIME and Larry G last year.

So, time will tell all -- with the exception of Saturday 19 May in San Franciso for that credit card members-only gig at The Orpheum.
