I still haven't "fucked for it".*

Though
as a true blue die-hard fan,
I plan to.
Eventually.

The org is getting almost unbearable. It used to be a place of intelligent conversation. So sad.

That's the thing that sucks most about a free site that's open to whoever can access it from any where from around the world.
We have to share it with others who's idea of what a fan site is can run completely different than ours, whether that be intellectually, creatively, humorously, seriously or just what the barriers of good taste and/or fun is.

I think that the major problem with this site is when one comes in with a certain expectation of what quality is.
The world is an awfully big place,
filled with people whose tastes, opinions & "limits" can be vastly different from what we expect it to be.

Take also into account that all the other people from around the world can also come in a lot different mood than what we're in on a day to day basis & that a certain percentage of one's tone, intent, communication ability or even sense of logic can be diluted by the huge "static wall" that is the internet,
& one can come to realize that the idea of a "free" site doesn't really exist.

We all have to pay for this site.
Not with money,
but with the tolerance that with so many people from such various parts of the globe,
the org will always be in a constant state of flux.
Thereby it's state of "quality, tone & over-all feel may align with our definitions on some days & on others, they don't.

I had almost that same damn conversation with the guy that reads all of the greeting cards out loud to himself at Wal-Mart.
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.
