Jeremy Ellis performs "Prince song" to Freestyle Keyboard/Mpc collage at Namm I am sorry but nobody fucks with this dude.
http://www.youtube.com/wa...MZl7pHF1NQ I am not going to tell you which one. I am sure you will be surprised Watch his hand on the mpc machine. Untouchable.....And then when he hits the keyboards? Unfadeable..... That was probably Namm's best demonstration. THat cat is too sick. Too bad P can't bring him to 3121 to test out with his band.

The cats at shows like NAMM are very good but it's by design. They are there 2 sell gears and make u think u can do that after u drop $10k grand on that new piece of gear.

This video right here proved to me he wasn't a human. But someone who figured out how to rock a crowd with just a MPC module. http://www.youtube.com/wa...dS2QJzXgYI and here he just goes hyper crazy: http://www.youtube.com/wa...hpa4pFzBO6 I've never seen anyone do this with a mpc live and listen to the crowd. That's in Puerto Rico. He picks up a drink and still plays. Even Sheila E would be impressed. [Edited 4/3/07 18:42pm]

Man, these people uploading the live videos should upload the shows because every damn show is improvised. His stuff with John Arnold looks insane. Two MPC machines going crazy. Can't find those "Shows" either. Only Brokebeat radio was smart enough to put up a whole show from 2004,. it's hard to come by. Just clips here and there. http://www.brokenbeatradi...062804.mp3 a show from the mission. He doesn't do a Prince song but he does a little vocal adlib from "Kiss" And there are clips of him doing "Sign o The Times" Did you notice he throws in the Sign O The Times bassline during that demonstration? I've never seen anyone do anything that creative with Prince electronic- wise. He "Wins" I think if Prince saw this guy he would stand up and be like "Why isn't he in my band, damn! Where they been hiding this guy?" You know not to get on a rant here (Pardon the dennis miller) but if Prince was limited to a MPC Drum Machine, and some Keyboards and was in the studio, with Jeremy, he probably would have better sounding drums,keyboard/synth sounds and a hi octane mix to boot more than anything recently he cut in the Paisley studio. Jeremy could probably level the shit out of 3121 if he remixed it with just the vocal acapellas. That digital wavetable synth from 1994 aint hitting, brah P
