Milt Jackson's 1972 "People Make The World Go Round", Did Prince use this as the inspiration for "Muse 2 the Pharaoh"? The other day I was listening to one of the local jazz stations. They played Milt Jackson's 1972 "People Make The World Go Round". I hadn't heard it in a long time and I stopped and thought to myself did Prince use this as the inspiration for "Muse 2 the Pharaoh"?
For those of you who are wondering, "People Make The World Go Round" is from Milt Jackson's "Sunflower" album. Give it a close listen from beginning to end.

Milt or Mike Jackson, the same as the little Michael Jackosn of 72, because I am sure he did a version of that song too.

Milt Jackson, he had an all-star lineup playing on that joint. Herbie Hancock was one of the people on the track
