Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to let everyone know that there is gonna be a Purple Wedding on September 21st! Karrie and I are finally tying the knot 4 1/2 years after first meeting in LA at a Sheila E concert.

The reason I'm writing this is because it was our mutual love of Prince's music that brought us together and I feel like saying THANK YOU for helping me find my soulmate!

Karrie actually lived in Utah when I met her. She had met some people online (Sup NAKRules!) and roadtripped to California to attend a DREAM FACTORY party in San Fransisco. I knew Bobby (who doesn't) of the Dream Factory and decided to head up and party with the freaks. It was a blast of course but for some reason didn't see Karrie. It wasn't until I talked Bobby to come back with me to LA to see the Sheila E concert in Hollywood that I got the chance to meet her and the other Prince freaks. That was a great night too because I met many other people that are very close to me today! When we were leaving the show, I told Bobby, "That Karrie is the kind of girl I could marry!"

We ended up emailing each other for a few months, then it became phone calls. Soon we were meeting for other California Price functions- another Dream Factory Party (check my profile!), the Vibe Show, and the Tonight Show and Key Club aftershow. We clicked immediately and within 6 months she moved to California to live with me. We've had a blast together the past for years, meeting more Prince friends (Bump Squad in the House!), attending the first two Celebrations, attending MANY Prince shows together.

So on Sept.21st we will have a huge party to celebrate our love and I'm happy to say about half of the people will be Prince friends! We will dance for the first time as husband and wife to "Friend, Lover, Sister, Mother, Wife".

We'll be honeymooning in Hawaii for a week to relax. (Don't you think Prince should do a Tour Warmup in Hawaii??)

Anyways, thanks for letting me ramble on and we'll see you at the next show!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! That is one of the most romantic stories I have heard. You inspired me when we met by telling me to just keep doing the things I like doing and my "Prince" Charming will probably be there doing the same things. Many blessings to you and Karrie. I hope you party like its 1999!!!
