1)What do you think he'd be doing now, career-wise? I can't really see him as an office type. At all, really. Eccentric high school music teacher maybe?

2) His name. It's unusual, to say the least. As a musician it helped him stand out in the early years. But if he were just your Average Joe, do you think being named Prince could have helped or hurt him? Left-field names are a bit more common nowadays than they used to be, but it's still true that people react to a person differently if they do have a strange moniker. To make things easier on himself, do you think he'd just drop the Prince and go by Roger(s)?

He would be on the same level as a poet, like Maya Angelou.

And since he is a modern day "Mozart" in the music world, he would be, in this alternate reality, on the same level as Edgar Allan Poe and Robert Frost.

Prince is a storyteller, every facet, every direction, and where he goes, those that enjoy his prose and verse will look forward to more until there is no more.

He's so shy by nature but brilliantly talented, I really can't imagine anything else! That really would have been a loss for the music world when I think about it.

In an early interview he said he wanted to "go to college" and then "work in film", "maybe be a gaffer or something". This was when he said he believed that the music success would last a couple of years at most.

I honestly feel that he would make a hell of a professor/director, in his own school/institute of funk. I thought I also read somewhere that if he hadn't been successful with music himself he would be teaching it.
