Hollywood Walk of Fame...Prince won't b there I just saw Hillary Swank on Jimmy Kimmel and she stated that you have to pay $10,000 to have a star on the walk of fame along with maintenance. She said that is why Clint Eastwood doesn't have a star, he didn't want to pay for it. He does have his hands in the concrete, but no star.

It's actually $25,000 and the artist doesn't actually purchase the star, their companies can pay for the star or their fan clubs can raise the money. But you have to be nominated & have a certain amount of fame and accomplishment (which Prince has done). | |

The star4prince petition's up to 332 only 24,667 to go..for a fan-based/funded nomination...I don't think it'll happen by 5/1 but I'm glad we tried...Thanks J7 for the info!! and paisley for the inspiration.... | |
