You can find the Mountains extended on eBay all.the.time.

You serious about this? I would love to hear this, having heard rumours about the unedited version of this track.

I was a bit drunk last night when I posted that...wasn't meant to let that cat out of the bag. Too late now...there's a long bit in it where he's really, really explicit so I can see why it was edited.

That was on the unreleased double album version of Dirty Mind. I am suprized to hear that it has leaked out. Every song on there is 2-3 times the length with so much explicit language, that he would have NEVER gotten it released.

Although the 10 min. version of Head is great, the 18 minute version is even better because he gets so nasty that he ends up spending 2-3 minutes apologizing for it.... but of course it is in rhyme.

"Sorry for my rude behavior,
Jesus is my lord and savior"
...and other stuff like that.
The expanded version of my book PRINCE and The Purple Rain Era Studio Sessions 1983-1984 was released in November 2018. (www.amazon.com/gp/product/1538114623/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0) or www.facebook.com/groups/1...104195943/

That's true, sort of. All the tracks from the first two Time albums were originally part of Dirty Mind 3CD project (then known as Crystal Blue Balls). WB balked at such audacity, however, so Prince had to whittle everything down and slice it up into different albums in the studio. If you use a magnifying glass to look at the bedsprings on the original album cover you can read the info on the original 3 CD set.

I actually have "Crystal Blue Balls". The standout tracks are "Brother", "Feet" and "Downtown" (a very unexpected cover of Petula Clark's hit single).

You might want to see a doctor about those Crystal Blue Balls. Clacking everywhere you walk could get annoying.
