My Favorite Prince era. Was 1985-1987.

I love Sign O The Times. But I do think he could have put out a better album from the songs he had recorded for the Dream Factory and Crystal Ball.

So If you were given the job of compiling a 16 track double album from these sessions in 1987 what would you hve chosen.

I'm not keen on mixing the Dream Factory stuff with Crystal Ball material.
I'd keep the Prince and Camille stuff seperate from the Revolution stuff
and have the material split over two different albums.

So in that respect, I prefer Prince's own solution to your question... SOTT.
(though I probably would've added a song or two to it)

I Love the Camille stuff so I'd try to include most of that album. You could have two albums but I guess the question is what is the best possible album he could have released.
