Quick! Can Prince still dance?

I was watching some old concert footage from '86-'88 and the Arsenio Hall shows and he was amazing dancer with a very fluid, unique style.

He doesn't dance like that now - not since the JOTY tour in '96-'97.

Can he still dance? Are his kneess shot?

There was a programme on TV over here(U.K) sometime last week, about great dancers and stuff.Nearly everyone who was interviewed(mainly B-list celebs, and has-been musicians) were going on, and on, and on, about The Faceless Wonder being the BEST dancer, and all round entertainer of our generation-and i was PISSED!!!Not one person mentioned that his whole act hasn't changed since 1980whatever, and he's SHIT(in my opinion)-and doesn't even COMPARE to u know who.I have to say that I can't WAIT to see him doin' the splits(and back up again)-I havent seen that since 95!!!Now THAT is cool!!!

Prince doesn't do the splits anymore. Give the guy a break. He's 44 years old. James Brown had to stop doing the splits at some point, and Prince had to stop, too.

Of course he can Dance and he was dancing quite well at the Hit and Run Tour. I'm sure he will dance again the next tour when the music dictates.

He did several splits during the rave un2 the year 2000 concerts. And that was less than 3 years ago. So I don't see why he couldn't do them anymore...

I went to see TTD in concert, recently. I believe is 40 now and did some funky splits !!

No, a reliable source told me that P will not be dancing anymore. He has cartilage problems in his left ankle, and has been told to take it easy indefinitely. This is why he no longer does the splits and jumps off pianos. He simply cannot do it anymore.

By the way, I was talking about my friend, "P", that's his nickname. He does not jump off pianos anymore...As far as Prince goes...I am, LOL, pretty damn sure he still has the moves. The ONA was a showcase of his musical ability, and something he hadn't really done before, the format was different. I am sure that Prince will be jumping off pianos and doing the splits etc. at future shows. He's in pretty darn good shape last time I checked...Peace
