The sun is brighter and closer. The line would have been helped by adding the word "mere." (Why settle for a mere star when you can have the sun?) But that would have broken the meter. The album is one of the, if not the, most musically and lyrically complex works of his career. It may not be built for the lowest common denominator but I wouldn't consider it a mess at all. | |

When someone outside the band is used, they are listed with the specific song credits. Carmen appearing on The Continental, for example, is listed in those credits. I'm not sure what intro to 7 you are talking about, though, unless you just mean the whispering in the video intro? | |
