So guess what I bought?

So my mom came back from a thrift store holding up Prince 1978 album. I was like wtf? Where did you get that? She said at a thrift store. I got ready really quick and went to the same thrift store. I bought these albums and 1 cassestte.

1. GraffitI Bridge $1.00
2. Purple Medley $1.00
3. Batman Soundtrack$1.00
4. Apollina 6 $.25

Totally cool.

That sure blows me out of the water. Over the course of one weekend, I bought:

Musicology: $13.88
The Very Best of: $14.99
(courtesy of Wal-Mart)

3121: $19.99
The Gold Experience: $ 17.99 (USED & in Mint Condition)
(courtesy of FYE)

It basically adds up to nearly $70 of Prince music...

But it's paid off for me. The biggest bonus was TGE being in mint conditon. I still suspect someone returned it because of the language in Track 1 and they assumed the rest of the CD was just as "dirty".
I call it a sweet investment.

So now I'm jealous! pout wink
I thought I was cool last Friday because I bought the "Grafitti Bridge" DVD for $6.99 at the supermarket! giggle

One time, tho, I picked up the purple vinyl "Purple Rain" 12" for $3.99 at a garage sale. I gave the woman a $5. bill and ran to my car!
biggrin

Obviously.
I bought Purple Rain for $9.99
Sign "o" the Times for $22.99 (not 2 xpensive considering it's 2 CDs and they're the bomb )
3121 $11.99
Musicology $11.99
Te Amo Corazón $2.99
Ultimate $22.99 (worth it as well)

biggrin

Heh, I don't think I coulda offered Ultimate with my splurging... FYE had a very decent selection, though. They did have TGE used and in perfect condition.
Target was an embarrassment, just had Purple Rain 4 $9.99 and Ultimate...
My dad already had Purple Rain and I'm just borrowing it for the time being.

eek 22.99 for ultimate! i got my ultimate for 15.

I know... I once went 2 Best Buy and it was $12.99
But I found a Mariah DVD that I didn't have and had
never seen b4, so I thought that because Ultimate
was "newer" than the DVD it would b easier 2 find and
I didn't buy it... next time I went, it was $22.99 sad
I have such bad luck, I once saw Around the World in a
Day and didn't buy it... haven't seen it again neutral

umm... maybe I just got lucky. Like with the one of my other albums... the only problem I have with TGE is that I can't get away from it and get motivated to pick up Musicology (at least not as a whole) or 3121. biggrin, otherwise, I think it was a sweet investment.
