Does anybody know about a very special edition of the symbol album which is a 2CD edition with extra tracks/remixes and a different tracklist? It is a long blue velvet box. I saw it in a special gift fair back in 1995 (I was 18 and stupid and didn't buy, it was very expensive though, European edition or something, but it was NOT bootleg). I am looking for it since... Any info appreciated, thanks....

There is no such item.

There was never any 2 CD version of the symbol album released anywhere.
If something like this does exist then it is definitely a bootleg.

I remember seeing a special edition of the symbol album in Sam Goody - its was a purple box with a gold leaf style symbol on the cover. What was that? just a limited edition packaging?

There was a limited edition version of the album which came in a
gold box with a purple symbol on the front.

Yeah, the gold one is the only official special edition version of the album.
The other ones are unofficial.

But it was a long box (blue/purple velvet) and without symbol on it. Definitely Warner Bros. (engrossed on the back), I remember that very clearly, it can not be bootleg.

Hmmmm - kind of purple velvet is on this one - AND - the CD's inside are official, but the whole Release I think - it's not.





This "Box" is long and purple, but not official.

I actually have a version of the album that is called a 'clean version - playable in store' with the dirty words in each song edited out
