Ok. so I would like to make up a compilation of Prince's top love songs for my wife, Only trouble is I don't know which tracks to use

So i thought I'd ask fellow Prince fans to tell me their "top 10 Prince Ballads" so i can get some ideas

don't put Purple Rain on it. i'm sure she's heard it to death and it isn't a "love ballad" in the vein of Prince's "real" love ballads. u've gotten some good suggestions, but you HAVE to put I Love U in Me on it. I put that on a slow jam mix tape i made for a chick years ago and she loved that song the most.

Why limit yourself to just 10 songs? I have a 3 volume set of Prince slow jams. At any rate, here are my top ten:

1) Adore- It was to be my first dance from the time I was 15, but wifey nixed the idea
2) Do Me, Baby- for when you're ready to take things to the next level
3) Insatiable- One of the best songs from the bump & grind era
4) Scandalous- Even thugs bumped this in 1989
5) When We're Dancing Close and Slow- I was too young when this came out, but I appreciate it now
6) Slow Love- The title track from my iPod playlist
7) Shhh- Nuff said
8) When 2 R In Love- "nothing's forbidden, nothing's taboo when 2 R in love"
9) Damn U & Extraordinary- A tie in my book, they go well back 2 back
10) International Lover- I meant to place this higher on the list, but it's late and I don't feel like making any more edits
