The Truth is so UNDERRATED! This CD is amazing. I just want to show a little love for it.
I was listing to Come Back in my car the other day, and was blown away. Even songs like Don't Play Me... One of Ur Tears... Dionne... Circle of Amor... The Other Side of the Pillow... etc... it's a VERY NICE CD. And YES... Animal Kingdom is strange... but eerily interesting! That's one of my faves on the CD. Show some LOVE for THE TRUTH... or hate... whatever... but it's a VERY GOOD and artistic CD!!!!! [Edited 3/25/07 7:59am] The public is squeezin' you kiddo. You'd better kick ass on your next album or else! |

Just listening to it this morning. Really enjoyable album and was a different kind of Prince/o(+> album at the time.

It's in my top 3 favorite albums. It's so gorgeous, laid back, and ballsy. Sometimes its hard to listen to because I'm not used to Prince being so personal, but that's one of the reasons why I love it. I played it for my boyfriend (who still isn't sure if he likes Prince or not) and it scored some serious points. It's a shame it didn't see a more public release, because I think it would give naysayers an earful.

Not that I don't like his other stuff, but I always gravitate towards his recordings and performances that are more..I don't know...organic. Anytime he does an acoustic performance, I'm in Heaven! It's one of my faves!!! There are some great songs on it. Don't Play Me, I love to death. And I even like Animal Kingdom.

oh man how good is the likes of dionne,fascination and circle of amour. dont play me is a great fuck you song and is the reason i know use the term "play" in regard to being screwed(not that kinda being screwed) Like a Gb Major with a E in the bass | |
