money don't matter tonight - it just grabs you...

That's a song I'll definitely need to give another listen to soon. It's been so long... and it grabbed me from first listen. I'm not sure if it was the background vocals, but there was something... as far as I'm concerned everything about that song just worked for me.

Actually, I'm not really as crazy about some of the use of background vocals in that song, but it's not all in vain. I love the use of them in the bridge b4 the last verse and Prince did a wonderful job with the last use of the chorus, having being alone in singing it, kinda re-emphasizing the message of it using his own voice alone. What's great about the song is that the lyrics are pretty cryptic for a lot of the time.

Good choice. I would've picked those too. Along with "Insatiable", "Pink Cashmere", "When 2 R in Love", "Joy in Repitition", "Condition Of The Heart", "Adore", "Friend/Lover/Sister/Mother/Wife", "Saviour", "When Doves Cry", "Strollin'", "On The Couch". Man, I didn't think I would figure out all that. Anyway, Peace snd be wild!

Shhh has some great background vocals too. I'll probably add more after relistening to some of the songs off TGE.
