has there ever been a thread about this song yet?

perhaps it's because it's from new power soul and the
fact that the few songs people always seem to like on
there are come on, wasted kisses, the one & mad sex

same goes for me, really.

although last night i listened to this on headphones,
not knowing it was on my mp3 player.

but it was a pleasant surprise actually. it's a bit of
an oddity on NPS imo. in fact, it feels a lot more as
if it might be an Emancipation Outtake.

sure, Marva King is on BG vox but she could have been
added later.

I wish we had a sessionography for prince's later work

anywho. what i'm trying to say is that although not one
of his best songs it certainly is no turd either.

there's many interesting bits and pieces in it and the
song as a whole has a nice vibe too it, be it perhaps a
bit too naively happy for me.

oh and the rap isn't half bad either.

This is one of those songs I'm generally not keen on, but that has a few elements I absolutely love. In this case, the horns are fantastic, and the coda is one of my favorite parts of the album.

It's my favourite from NPS from the beginning. Very uplifting!

My sister and I looooove this song! It perfectly describes how love usually works.

It's a really good song, I don't think NPS is classic by any means but it does have its moments
