But I don't think it was ever released, except on the Billboards video. Could be wrong about that, though.

that's weird that he'd remix Thunder for the Joffrey, when i saw Billboard, they danced to the original track; might've been a little longer but was definitely not a different song altogether

The extended version of Thunder from the Joffrey Ballet I've heard is not so different from the album version - it just has an instrumental orchestral interlude in the middle that wouldn't be out of place on Kama Sutra and doesn't sound like Prince's work at all though I guess it is.
