He did re-record all his wb tracks - some of his band members have indicated this did actually happen - he just didn't release them in the end. | |

I spent several years in the rave scene, so I've seen a lot of people on MDMA (Ecstasy). Every detail I've read about Prince's alleged behavior and appearance that night is consistent with someone "rolling" on MDMA. The one slightly surprising thing is that it was supposedly a "bad trip" -- that's uncommon with MDMA, although certainly not unheard of.
