There have been a lot of very abusive and just plain disrespectful threads on here lately...now they apologized in e-mails and made more premium tickets available. How do you feel? Don't you think that some of your responses were over the top?

And let me say this, I thought about it and realized that even if I had the same problem with the tickets for the German shows, I still wouldn't write e-mails or make up threads saying what an asshole Prince is.

My point is, even though we might be angry and feel ripped off, we should still try to think and act positive.

I just got my email, as I'm not in Europe I won't be attending but I was thinking that the club has glitches notwithstanding but being able to get seats directly from them SERIOUSLY improved seating for members. The first few shows I saw stateside were sold through Ticketmaster and while club members got them first they were still not the best in the venue. The only ticketmaster show I got GREAT seats at was the first night in DC.

Regardless of how crappy the site is they are at least making attempts to correct them as they can. They should have staggered the onsale times like they did for a few shows over here and that would have eased up the server overload but I'm glad you all will be able to get tickets. And I didn't do any screen captures as I was signing up but I didn't interrupt the presale opportunity as a PROMISE I would get tickets as my member perk but that I would at least be given the chance to get tickets early and if I missed out there was always a backup option of the actual ticket seller. Yeah this will probably be attacked because I actually got to see several concerts but let's all take a minute to breathe cause Prince is human too and is figuring out what works as he moves along this process.

I didn't receive the e-mail from NPGMC but I think they SHOULD appologize. It's not like being a member is free. I don't live in Europe, but from a European point of view, I'm sure these few upcoming concerts is the first time some members are getting the chance to get their money's worth for being a member of the club. A hundred dollars and only one cd to show for it??? and then come to find out I can't even purchase tickets to the show???!!! OH... I would be ticked off big time! And no I wouldn't mince words either.

There's a time and place for everything. Sometimes being "nice" all the time just doesn't cut it.

Yeah, one thing about Prince, when dealing with tickets and other things related to him, he might drive the fans to the brink of insanity, but he always comes through, doesn't he?

Yep and the way they sorted this out proves that in future we should give them the benfeit of the doubt and politely express our concerns, instead of cursing them!!

Glad I was waiting until I couldn't get regular tickets before I e-mailed them. Now I got tickets for Thursday and Friday. See you all there.

It didn't make Prince look unfair, but it certainly made those complaining appear irrational.
