Has Prince Met All of his Musical Heroes

With the exception of Jimi,I'm guessing that he has. I know that he's either met or worked with James, Santana, Miles, and Joni Mitchell. What about Sly? Am I leaving anyone out? I'm just curious.

i think i read that he met sly when he was just starting out on his first record. chaka kahn was in a nearby studio and she brought sly to see prince. I THINK im recalling that story correct. its in the book DMSR.
