What is known about this 3121 outtake?

Never heard of it but I have no doubt it is a fake or mis-labelled track, there haven't been any new studio boots leaked from Prince since around '96.

yeah, this track was mentioned in some of the tour reports i think.

but that's so long ago now, i can't remember anything about it

there was also the great accoustic version of 'Real Players' done on the Musicolgy tour. If anyone get a chance to check out the lyrics please do, if he released it today he would shove it right up JT!

'Vibe' was mentioned along with 'Fury' as tracks rehearsed for SNL in Feb. 2006 by someone who was there. Since this was the first time Fury was mentioned and it went on to be performed on SNL and released on 3121, it's reasonable to assume that Vibe was also being considered for 3121 (it's still feasable that Prince didn't have the tracklist finalized at this point). It's unlikely (though of course possible) that there wasn't a studio version ready, therefore.

Does anyone have any idea what Vibe was supposed to sound like?

Me too. I listen to the demo all the time. Actually, the demo is my all time favorite Prince song.
