Larry Dodson and Prince ? Do any of y'all see any similaraties between Larry Dodson, lead singer of the Bar-Kays and Prince. I was recently watching some Bar-Kays footage and Prince kind of remeined me of him. PRINCE: Always and Forever

slightly. There are songs that are similiar. One done by P and the other done by BK's. I heard it over the summer (my brother and I was pulling out some songs) and I can't remember what the titles were but both songs had the same beat. "I don't make the rules. I just play" | |

Dodson is more like Leroy Bonner (of the Ohio Players), imo. It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

I think that U may be talking about the Prince song "Billy Jack Bitch". That song sounds so similar to The Bar-Kays hit song "Hit and Run". I am a really big fan of the early Bar-Kays. U should get the Bar-Kays 1981 album "Nightcruising". It is a really GOOD ALBUM and there is a song on it titled "Backseat Driver". It is TOO FUNKY! U can find it on vinyl at GEMM.COM | |
