Prince and/or his music reminds me of...

When I first discovered Prince, I felt like he's always had this spell over me. I thought that there's a certain intangible thing about him that makes him almost irresistible.

the aura that surrounds him and hyptonized reminds of me... Incense

His music has a certain quality and taste that reminds me of... cinnamon or dark chocolate

My favorite word for him is "indescribable"... his music makes my pleasure center go wild... much like the taste of cinnamon or dark chocolate... or the scent of incense

Oh yeah... and his music (and stage theatrics in televised appearances) get me high like caffeine...

He really is the ultimate anti-drug.

Everything from his music, to his interviews, his performances... and even his pictures (posted on the boards all the time) make me smile.

Prince is like smoking...

He's expensive, I know it's not good to (listen) all the time, he can be offensive to others, I swear I can quit anytime, but I don't want to and I wish people would stop bothering me about him! smoker

For Easter, I got a pack of dark chocolates filled with peanut butter...

Perfect combination... like Prince.

I could live on dark chocolate... and (excuse me Prince if this sounds creepy) it tastes as good as Prince is beautiful.

And the peanut butter inside is sticky, kinda like how his music stays on my mind... and I love things filled with peanut butter as I love his music.

Yeah, if Prince read this, I'd weird him out with all of my food references.

I tried to think of a chocolate one (no pun intended), but I couldn't come up with one that flowed like the cigarette reference... shrug

Trust me- I'm thinking about it, tho... lol

I don't feel like theres anything Prince and/or his music reminds me of because he and his music are two of the most unique things I've ever come across.

I guess if I had to pick something it'd be "the ultimate high".

It certainly is...

What I was trying to get at with this... is that Prince and his music is so unique that I wanted to compare it to the unique taste of, say, dark chocolate... that you can't find anywhere else but can't get enough of.

He has alot of different facets to his personality and alot of different sides and images to him...but he reminded me alot of my mixed friends growing up..you know I'm sure it was probably because of the movie but when I saw a famous person with two parents of two different races it didn't make me feel so alienated because mine are. So it was nice seeing it represented regardless of Prince's true ethnicity I felt like he kinda understood what it ment having to be in the middle of two different cultures. I really loved seeing how he could appeal to and embraced by both whtie and black culture...expecially back in the eighties!
