The Continental In my opinion, this could have been a chart topper if Prince had decided to release it as a single off The Love Symbol Album.

It's easily my fourth or fifth favourite track of the album,I love the coda part, it's so warm and sexy!

Maybe a bit too sprawling for a wider audience's tastes. The second part is more accessible for certain, but the first part--as pop music--makes fully sense only to Prince fans. It was definitely a "wtf" -song for someone at the time who hadn't listened to a Prince record. We've just gotten used to it a long time ago already.

It was lined up to be released as a single but then shelved.
The A-side was gonna be the first half of the song, and the B-Side was gonna be a mix of the second half (re-titled: Tell Me How U Wanna B Done). There were a few remixes made as well for the Maxi-single.
