I've only seen Prince as many times as he's performed here in Montreal, which is 4. The best experience was during his One Night Alone tour, where fans got to go to the sound check. MY souvenir from this show was when he released one of the songs from this particular show on his website, a ten minute version of "Days O'Wild".

The soundcheck was awesome! At first, he was sitting a few rows behind us in the dark, listening to the NPG rehearsing. I didn't know until my bro said: "Hey, look behind." I did and... there he was! A little later he went up on stage and played songs I never dreamed I would see live, like "Elephants and Flowers" and a cool jazzy version of "Automatic" (he also sang an Alicia Keys song).

Just twice. ONA and Musicology. I would have gone to Jam of the Year when I was 15, but my family didn't have any money, and the show was 4 hours away from home on a school night. The odds were not in my favor that time.

probably around 20, starting with Lovesexy. He had his glamslam LA club out here, so there were a number of shows and aftershows he played and some of them were front row. I am heading to Vegas this weekend and I am looking forward to adding to the list.

Only the once, Nude Tour, Wembley Arena '90. First proper gig I ever went to. Been to many since...but not Prince yet.

Sadly only once, May 2004, at the Staples Center. Besides my wedding day and the birth of my 4 kids. I will admit my happiest day on earth!! Loved everything about the day, the anticipation, the 2 hour drive to L.A. listening to none other then Prince. Arriving to the venue and seeing the Prince posters and people walking to the venue in purple! I was in Prince heaven, while waiting in line listening to the Prince music over head. And walking into the actual stage area and seeing the stage, dear god what a rush!!! I took my 21 year old son with me, he knows how to keep me sane. Finding my seat when I could barely walk in anticipation..then calling my husband and immediate family to let them know I had arrived at the concert. They were all, bless there heart's worried I'd have a heart attack before i got there. That day will live in me forever! I think the best part besides Prince, was seeing the love in that room for Prince, seeing so many fans of all ages and races. There was an elderly couple to my right, and a group of gang bangers to my left! But everyone sang along! I could go on forever. Anyways, I have only seen him live once, but god help me I hope he tours again soon, and I'll go again!
