replay of While My Guitar Gently Weeps on VH1 Classic right now!!

God, I wish they would show this performance once every day! Without a doubt one of his best TV performances ever!

Okay, I know this clip has been discussed many times before- but I so love this performance! I just now finally got my non-Prince fan BF to watch it for the first time, and he finally admitted Prince is an excellant guitar player!!! (and asked me where did his guitar go????lol !!!!)
Although, sadly, he did pick up on the old criticism of his "showboating"...to which I replied well if Dhani Harrison liked it, then all is well, he was the only one who needed to be impressed/happy with the performance in my book.
It just makes me so happy to watch, he was soooo good, and looked so happy and comfortable on stage with all those people- Tom Petty, Steve Winwood, etc. For me, as an "old school" fan, who watched him skip We Are The World, go onstage with Chick to accept awards, etc- this whole night meant so much to me. He was just perfect all around that night! No nonsense, no games, just great music and Prince getting something he truly deserved.
Anybody feel like commenting on this old news??
