Prince moments... I was on my way to college one day while listening to Parade...Sometimes it Snows in April came on and it starting snowing. It happened to be in April and for the mid Atlantic that was like a twilight zone moment. To top it off I was madly in lust with a guy named Tracy whose middle name was Christopher...and springtime is still my favorite time of year...Dare I say this is what I mean when I say Prince's music seemed to be theme music for my life. It snowed here in April a few years back. It was very light and didn't stick, but it was snow nonetheless. The song came to my mind as I watched the flakes falling.

 I had walking pneumonia one year & was listening to Sometimes It Snows in April in my room because it was spring break & I had to stay in the house. It was sunny & people were outside having a ball. I ended up having to go to the hospital that night and when we went outside there was a raging blizzard... it was April fools day 1997 I think. Soundtrack of my life. LOL | |
