I only have a couple of vinyls, but if I wanted to start, there's stores out here in the Bay Area that have it all. Amoeba Music has EVERYTHING "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

pardon my ignorance, but whats a 45s? 45s were 7 inch vinyl records with a big hole in the middle. The were called 45s because that was the speed of the record the way 33 was for albums. Before all that, there were 78s.....but that's for the real old people. ![]() 45s were the "singles" back then. When vinyl faded out, they were replaced with cassette singles and later CD singles. Speaking of singles, I don't see singles on any format in record stores anymore. I guess they've been replaced by internet downloads. ![]() . . I have the Black Sweat/BLB single--but's it on a 12", does that count? But yeah, I don't see any new 45s. The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

You must be in Europe or somewhere to have seen that, or did you have the record store special order it? When I was referring to no singles being in record stores anymore, I was meaning....not even CD singles either. Andy is a four letter word.

Once you get started , there's no stopping. It's like an addiction. LP's, 7 inches, 12 inches, picture discs, shaped picture discs, special limited editions, promo's, casetttes and casette singles, 3 inch and 5 inch cd singles, different prints, tracklist, editions, and whatsoever.
But... how about this one: anyone also has the laserdiscs (remember those ones?) of all prince videos/dvd's ( as far as released )? ![]()
