From what I recall Prince has said a number of things that never materialized for whatever reason. On the other hand, lots of things that actually happen, he doesn't say much about.

You know I always find it very interesting when I hear the question "do you lie?". We don't stand still in life, we always experiece so many facets in our lives to make "choices" with our free wills. There are things that are completely "out of our control" when it has to do with things outside of us, even within ourselves. We don't wake up one day and say instantaneously... "hey G wiz, I am so glad nobody told me life would be up and down and all-around"...however, the Bible indicates, since the fall of mankind, we would live with our free will choice in action til the day our choices will be judged upon us for what we do unto ourselves, as we would do unto others. What this has to do with LIES is... The only REAL TRUTH is GOD and the Kingdom of heaven...once that is completed and the fall of mankind IS NO MORE, than there will be illusion, lies and choices that even the best upright mankind will break in right or wrong. Therefore, we all live in lies and have the choice to RIGHT THE WRONGS we may do (even) unknowing... So to point fingers at each other is complete (irrelevancy). But to support each other thru thick and thin is the best we can do for each other, even when we feel we have been lied to or have changed our minds, in regards to what we thought we were doing in truth and turned out to be our own lies in choices. Take care, just sharing... SingMia I always ask myself when doing towards another... "DO I WANT THAT DONE TO ME?" if it feels wrong to yourself, then by goodness don't do it to another. | |

Granted we all tell the occasional fib, I think the label "liar" is reserved for pathological cases--you know, people who can't stop lying, lie for no apparent reason, just out of compulsion. I'm not sure Prince qualifies, but he does show signs. We saw his capacity for denial during his Oprah interview, he heavily favors fantasy over reality, and he's so guarded he seems to live and breathe the "act." | |

2002 NPG Music Club: 4 CDs were to have been released throughout the year (their titles were even given in what was advertised to push sales). Instead, members received 1 live album of questionable song selection.

[Edited 3/10/07 16:16pm] Is he a liar? Well who doesn't lie? Anybody who says they've never told one is in fact ...lying. Do I balme him for Tamar's album not coming out? No, because I don't know all the details about why it didn't come out especially after hearing Universal hated it in the first place. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
