The perks of membership are limited. Limited way beyond the number of members signed up, and NPGMC know that. And still they flaunt the incentive of pre-sale tix.

They replied to me saying that they made more tix available for the friday and saturday shows!!!

And they did Hurry

Prince and crew probably did underestimate the demand for tickets, seeing as his record sales and radio play is likely the same as it is in the states.
I'm betting more shows will be added in London, but that is still no guarantee you'll get tickets. It'll be interesting to see what scalpers will be getting for these hotter than hot tickets. Prince, washed up? I don't think so.
NPGMC has been in existence for a relatively short time and because it is a small organization, it is bound to be plagued with difficulties. I'm sure they are not trying to piss people off on purpose. My experience has been totally positive with NPGMC. I got my tickets to One Nite Alone with no problem, we enjoyed the soundcheck as well as the concert, I got Celebration passes with no problem, and so far everything I have ordered has arrived.
I'm sorry for those who have had problems with the club, but for those who get into the show, it will be well worth the troubles.

One other factor that I don't see mentioned is that each member can bring one guest. So say the venue has 200 seats available only 100 NPGMC members are going to get them as most will be bringing a guest.
Much of the same madness happened in the US. I've said it before and I'll say it now... If he weren't Prince he'd be fired by now!
Good luck to all of you still trying to get to the shows! He's a sticking ass when it comes to business, but in the end, the shows are worth it!

I agree that you should email NPGMC... they have actually sent out an email stating that they were having problems with the site this morning. And remember... there are ways to get in... I was upset because the Celebration sold out b4 I got tickets, but I still managed to GET IN!! I live 6 miles from Paisley and i went down there and GOT IN!! It took some begging and EMAILS to NPGMC... and they are actually VERY NICE and did everything they could to get me in!! So good luck and keep trying! It's a great show! I'm sure he's got something special planned for these Europe shows too...

Sounds more like a concession to reality since, IMO, going to a concert alone usually sucks. I guarantee you if NPGMC stated that members could not enjoy the show with a guest they would be flamed moreso than ever!

That's my point Universaluv. It's not a bad thing that a member can bring a guest, but it is a factor in how many seats are available to NPGMC members.

I would def. be pissed if I had to pay $200 (before a tour was even confirmed) so my hubby could go to a show with me and get a seat next to mine!

But now much of this is moot as the Club seems to be turning this around...I just do not like the hassle.

One thing, I do not understand why if you are a member of the NPGMC you have to pay any more money for having an entreda premium or what it is, supposing that if you are a member of the club it is in order that they do discounts to you, not in order that they charge more money. Having paid 100 $ I believe that at least would have have the members this discount.

I would see logical that it was costing it it stops them not associates, does not stop those who are.
