Joshua Homme. That would make my eyes water.

I'd actually quite like him to work with Kate Bush... properly.

Teena Marie.I once heard her do a medley of some of his songs. I dream of hearing a duet between those 2.Besides she seem like an artist he would admire.

Beck.

But not the obvious funky route they both share.

They should go more the way of Beck's roots... ie something folky and 'meaningful'.

Christina

clapping Agree! This is the only current female singer out at this time that I would love to see Prince perform with. To this day, I still would have rathered to see Prince perform with Christina Aguilera at the 2004 Grammys instead of Beyonce. I really want Christina to remake "Do Me, Baby", because I know she'd sing the hell outta that song. Maybe someday, Prince and Christina will wreck the stage together...I just hope it's taped so I don't miss it. smile

Oh...and from today's current artist I'd like to see Prince and John Mayer trade licks. No singing from John Mayer though. I would like to see Prince and U2 get together just to see what would be born from the union. I know U2 has covered "The Cross". Bono also sung the song "Lemon" to sound like Prince.

That would b excited
A version of "Do Me, Baby" by Ms. Aguilera? It sounds really interesting. hmmm
And totally agree with the Grammy comment. I hated how Beyoncé's record got more attention than Christina's that year... and Christina's was very, very good biggrin Beyoncé's sounded like any other "r&b" CD...

nod I agree with you 100%. They did ignore Christina's album that year and it had such a wide spectrum of sounds that it deserved more credit than it got. Just because people didn't like her image, that shouldn't have overshadowed the fact that her album was very well done. The image should only matter when that's all that person has to offer. Christina obviously has a whole lot to offer with those amazing pipes of hers. Beyonce just made a typical R&B album. Nothing all that special about it really. The only reason I bought a used copy of it was for her duet with Luther Vandross...which was awesome, because Luther is awesome; Beyonce did the song great justice though, so I ain't mad at her. The whole theme of the Grammys that year was pairing up artists that would never usually preform together. Pairing Prince with Beyonce was unimaginative and expected to say the least. Now, Christina and Prince would have been interesting. I can even picture the performance in my mind. They would both be wearing suits (Christina can rock a suit). It would have been phenomonal, because I've never ever been disappointed by any of Christina's live performances.

woot! U agreed with that!!!
Christina can rock a suit --- try her per4mance of "WALK AWAY" on the Stripped DVD.
And no, her per4mances r never disappointing.
The Grammy per4mance this year was clapping!!!
Truly... I was excited

I'd love to see him work with Sir Cliff Richard. Can U imagine the look on dear

old Sir Cliff's face in the video. Maybe a version of Sexy MF with Cliff doing

the rap lol The pure confusion on Cliff's face wud be like Bing Crosby when

he worked with Bowie.

( for the non brits who may not have heard of Cliff, he was britain's so called answer to Elvis 50 years ago, and he's still clogging up the charts now with his own special brand of pap that owes more to Andy Williams than Elvis. He did actually do a duet with Janet Jackson on the album before Control...i've never heard her mention this historic event since tho, lol)

his most recent explanation (2002) for why they haven't done something together was because she was still under the wbr umbrella.

she hasn't been with them for a couple of years now, so one can only hope...
