She's hot

fair enough

Fair enough that I'd do her.

But then again,
the best lookin' girl I ever had
looked like alot like Dog, the Bounty Hunter's wife.
And she was a hooker.

Heck,
I remember when she first saw me,
she had that look on her usually "years-long drug-worn distant expression" face that said, "Maybe it's time for a career change.....".

I've never heard many of these covers mentioned beyond Chaka's I Feel 4 U and of course Sinead's, which was great IMO. (and can't forget Julia Roberts singing Kiss in the bathtub! lol )

No joke though, I really liked that youtube posted yesterday of some guy singing Doves, acoustic- I thought it was so good I went back to hear it again today and it has already been taken down by Universal. I don't get that!!! Aren't people allowed to play whatever they want live- is taking that live performance to youtube really that much different? Local bands video tape themselves all the time, this guy looked like he was in his room taping. Someone- please explain this to me like I'm a 2 year old.... smile

No doubt the best cover is Chaka Khan's I Feel 4 U.

Don't read it,then.

If only. ....

unfortunately, you find it necessary to come into topics which are clearly talking about OTHER artists based on their subject line, and then you post the same lame comment about how "no one is better than prince." so we're all forced to keep reading the same thing over and over again. it's extremely annoying and childish and makes you appear rather dim-witted.

I hear a cover of Nothing Compares to U, which wasn't Sinead's. It was great, very minimum arrangement and beautiful vocals. I have no idea who it was.

Was it a male voice, quite deep, echo effect with nothing else except an acoustic guitar?

It could be the Stereophonics version from the BBC Radio1 Live Lounge Sessions.

An excellent version IMO.
So look into the mirror, do u recognise some1? Is it who u always hoped u would become, when u were young?
