To solve the London dilemma in the short term...

Let's ask the NPGMC to keep a list of member's names at the venue. Those who didn't get the premium tickets can buy regular tickets through Ticketmaster, then still be let in for the soundcheck and aftershow (if there is one). That way, if the venue doesn't want any more tickets to be pre-sold that still works for them. It works for NPGMC (apart from possible costs for an aftershow) and it works (short-term) for members.

In the long term, more provisions should be made to accomodate members in the pre-sale.

For the record, I'm in Boston, USA, and I didn't even try to get tickets.

lol - I'm English and American (dual citizenship). I moved to the US 2 years ago. The ONA tour didn't come to Boston, so I even considered combining a vacation to see family with the London dates, but that thought didn't get very far...

I have been on my computer for 8 hours. I finally got tickets to Manchester after several tries for London and Manchester. Iam so disappointed that some of the premium members didnot get tickets after being on the computer for so long. If they don't fix this for the members Iam going to cancel my membership. Why should you be on a computer that long just to get tickets.

If the ticket distribution had been handled in the UK, we wouldn't had all this crap wink

It nay be that the capacity issue is not for the soundcheck or the actual concert, but for the aftershow. Prince seems to like playing in tiny flea pits for aftershows (at least in london) and if all with laminates can get in, this would be the limiting factor.
