I first heard it as the B Side of the "Uptown" 45. I had always thought "Prince" was the first album so I wondered where this song came from. To me, I always remember the song as "my" first Prince non-album B-Side until I discovered "For You" the next year. Andy is a four letter word. | |

I don't hear no shit hop on the "For You" album. Also, today's music buyers are so boring they don't like anything uptempo or funky. First time I heard For You I thought it was pretty boring, but it grew on me and now I enjoy it very much

I feature this song on a mix I made for people with other stuff like "aqueous transmission" by Incubus,"electrical storm" by u2,"pyramid song"by radiohead, and "rebel rebel" by seu jorge. I wanted to make a soft and slightly innocent sexual cd mix and from the feedback I was successful.It's slightly puss-ified,but you can't be a head banger all day.The mix and that song are great for chilling by yourself and making out.
