Who has this rare book? I'm talking about the famous Prince comic book. Not just the first one which spawned dozens of reprints but the 3 chains of gold one too. I have both of them in my collection. I personally own well over 2000 comics at my disposal. These 2 just happen to be a part of it. Unfortunately, I only own the second print which is worth more than the 3rd, 4th, or 5th reprints I have seen over the years. I only met one person who has the original 1st print. I forget his name and he wasn't going to sell it to me. Good for him. I Would've done the same if I was in his shoes. But I do have the 1st prints of 3 Chains Of Gold. I have them both in mint condition and put away safely. Do any of your Prince fans also have these books I'd like to know. Thank you in advance for reading this. Peace and be wild! Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

I have all 3 too. How do you know what printing of it you have? Is it listed on the cover or something? I never even looked at my copies to see. I got the alter ego one when it came out but later got the 3 chains and the rock & roll comics off of ebay because I didn't even know they existed! LOL

All 3 Originals As much as I geek out on Prince, I have trouble justifying buying these. I remember I bought one for a friend of mine as a present, and it was pretty humorous. I seem to recall him driving his motorcycle and fighting goons. "Knowledge is preferable to ignorance. Better by far to embrace the hard truth than a reassuring faith. "Sweet Christmas!"
I had the chance to get it, but foolishly passed it up, due to conflicting issues regarding "Artist Credibility". I can console myself with my Luke Cage collection.

I don't know that I would have paid an awful lot for them....but then, I AM a collector! Never trust anything spoken in the presence of an erection.
