He dropped Tavis' name because, in that audience, basically everyone would know who Tavis is. Prince would never mention Tavis at the Grammys or any other award show (except maybe the BET Awards). He was just trying to present himself as being in tune with things. | |

LMAO Dropping Tavis' name isn't name dropping... I thought they'd become cool after the interview? Anyway... I'd name drop like a mofo if I was cool with Prince.  But then then we probably wouldn't be cool anymore hunh?  Nevermind. | |
