I have been a Prince fan for many years, however, I just purchased the 3121 album last month.

I've heard so much NEGATIVE about this album on so many threads.

I just don't understand. I love this album!!!

I'd like to hear from others that feel the same way about 3121 that I do.

i love everything about this album except I&C, The Word is excellent!

Yesterday I played it in my car and I still love this album.
I thought every P-fan would love this one as much as
I do,it's my fav since TGE.I've played this album more
in almost 1 year time than others since their release(albums since TGE).

I also listen a lot 2 the first 6 songs from Musicology.
I love the 80's and early 90's and so far the new millenium hasn't dissapointed me yet.
(except some internet releases )

i bought this album .. for a trip back from Fla... and i have to say --- i enjoy this album much more than Musicology ... not that it is Purple Rain original ... but i did enjoy it more than anything recent....

Great album.Love the entire thing,and I have many copies 2 prove it!

That's probably because a lot of his fans aren't used to Prince doing an album that had more of an r&b/soul, gospel/spiritual,latin, blues, pop sound, with the exception of "Fury" which was definitely rock. I think many Prince fans want him to stay on the "rock" level, which he does well, but is not and never was limited to. On 3121 he covered quite a few genres of music, a little something for everyone.

I absolutely love 3121. I've tried getting my girls in2 Prince since birth
with no success, but when it comes 2 3121 "hello" that was the turn around 4 them. They even stand up 4 him although they think he looks girlie

I listen 2 3121 whenever im in my car. I totally love this cd one of my favorite cd's by Prince. Love EVERY THING ON IT.....

It's a good album. Waves of fans hated every album that came out after Purple Rain, the most dramatic drop off being with Lovesexy. Prince always shifts a bit in tone and style. Sign O' The times was considered overall a mediocre effort by many pop listeners back in 1987 aside from the few cuts everyone liked.

My avatar says it all. I played most of 3121 when I was riding the subway home the other day and I had a ball with it. It's a great album and while I don't play it as much as I did with Musicology when it was almost a year old, I love it way more than that album and it's right there with TGE for me, though I really enjoy TRC again. I think the reasons why people dog this CD is because they want Prince to sound different with each and every album and the complaints seemed to be that he was repeating himself. I just want a great CD, whether he repeats himself or not and he did just what I wanted and needed from him with 3121.

"Lolita" and "Love" are some of the best tracks he has made in years. I could put my foot up his ass for making a rediculous sellout song like "Incense and Candles" but, other than that, the album is pretty good.

Cuz for me, and a good amount of other women on this thread, agree this song is great. Maybe just us women like it for the simple reason it is so sexual and can put the most uptight in the mood

I hate it because it's shit hop sounding and it could fit in with anything else on the radio today.....which is a major insult in my book.

Yep. I always give respect when respect is given.

I love the 3121 album! I love the whole album. Some of my favorite songs off the album are "Lolita", "Black Sweat", "Love", "Fury", "The word" and"Beautiful,Loved, and Blessed". I also like "The Dance".
