Some time ago on the org I read a thread about a program that you could download to seperate the tracks from Lovesexy.

I downloaded it then, but after my computer crashed I lost it.

Anyone know what software that was to track Lovesexy?

Any 2 track wave editing program will do.

If you're on a Mac, there's freeware named Audacity that will do it --

Use iTunes to import the CD is a single .wav file (no compression, no sound degradation), open the .wav in Audacity, and then it's just a matter of copying-and-pasting sound into separate files for each song, save each as a .wav file, then burn them (in the correct order of course) back to a disc with no gaps between the tracks.

I'm not on a Mac either.

I did it on Creative Sound Blaster's Wave Studio.

It was a bunch of cutting & pasting to create nine or ten files out of one, but I was happy to finally be able to skip without holding down the fast forward button for five minutes while hearing Alphabet Street & Glam Slam play very fast, only to jerk my hand and skip to the next song accidentally--the beginning of Eye No!

I remember Windows Media PLayer had a way to track stuff, also, but I don't remember how.
