i know i might get shit for this, but I was never THAT impressed by the studio version of "Purple Rain". Live, it's amazing. But the studio version is kinda overrated.

Dont like "Cream" too much. It's so stale and boring.

"Badance", save for that AMAZING guitar solo, sucks

Everything else is good in my book!

Purple Rain aint a 'studio version' it was recorded live
I dont generally go out of my way to listen to;
little red corvette

Purple Rain
Little Red Corvette
Raspberry Beret
U Got the Look
Kiss

I see many folks listed Cream. I only started liking it after hearing the acoustic version on the Musicology tour.
Cool, but I'm leavin' my pants on.

1999 - totally overrated.

How U don't call me? - boring

Let's Go Crazy - ok, so I tripped out on the final guitar solo when I heard it at the age of 12. But now, I just wish Prince had kept to his promise when he said he was going to stop playing it. It annnnnooooyyyyysss me.

Alphabet Street - Let me get this straight--I love love love the truncated, shortened version released as a single, but I dislike the long version with the Cat-Rap and all live versions I've ever heard.

Call My Name - boring and unsexy.

BatDance - What a mess, though I like it more now than I did when it was first released.

I hate U - The way he delivers the vocals sounds like he's just going through the motions. Like he's mimicking The Stylistics or something. shrug

I think those are pretty much all the popular songs I don't care for. shrug There's something to be said about an artist who consistently releases albums were most of the songs are songs I love or like.

Well kiss my grits!mad

Listen to the end fourth of I Hate U... it's good!

And the Cat rap is the best part of alphabet st., the second best part is the what you tell "yo pappa" 'bout, with the screetching and that funky twisty instrument thing.... and both best parts are in the last half!

Not that I dislike these songs, but the excitement for me just doesn't match their popularity. They wouldn't make my custom "Greatest Hits" collection.

Kiss - this one much more than the others. It never grew one me. The Mazarati version is better.

Adore

When Doves Cry

COVERING MY EYES.....How could you say ADORE.....REally a beautiful song.....WE NEED TO TALK!!!!!
