Has anyone ever been in love enuff to....

Has anyone in here ever been in love enough to envision a love song as deep as ADORE? I mean damn, who the hell inspires a love song like that?...Not since high school have I felt like that about someone, and I used to write some serious love notes during third period, but damn! Who do you guys think inspired Prince.....

Prince is just that deep, look at the songs he wrote for Mayte, even for Mani!

I agree with wlcm2thdwn.
Prince is just a very deep man. And he's not afraid to show his emotions, but even deepness and sensitivity alone don't make up his songs. There's probably more to it. Some may know, and some may never find out. That's the way he is.

Btw, Adore! I love that song, it is such an amazing love song. Sometimes it brings tears to my eyes when i think about how powerful and sensational it is.

I believe in love like that. Maybe even experienced it. words pour from the soul and you have to trust it in order to write a song like that

Who is Anna Garcia?

"I ain't fuckin' just 4 kicks, no! This condition I got is crucial...crucial, baby. U could say that I'm A terminal case...u could burn up my clothes, smash up my ride...Well, maybe not the ride..."

Quite possibly the most awesome lyrics from a slow jam EVER.

A young girl Prince was dating c.1988. I think she was only 18 or something at the time. Anyway, Prince renamed her "Anna Fantastic" and her name can be found on the Batman album liner notes, if I remember correctly. The song "Vicki Waiting" was originally titled "Anna Waiting" (presumably about making her "wait" until she was the "legal' age)

Deep, my left eyeball - he's just as shallow as the rest of us. The man is so fickle in his love-life it's unreal!

Adore is an incredible song, though! drool

Interesting that her website makes absolutely no mention of Prince whatsoever... If Prince had written a song for me I'd be crowing from the rooftops! Ha ha!

(Edited because it looked like I was calling you a goddamn liar! Late night last night - not feeling very articulate this morning!)

I think this was about Susannah. He liked Anna, but not like he loved Susannah.
He did write Pink Cashmere for Anna.

IMO, Prince's best love songs were written for Susannah. I don't think he's ever topped any of those songs....
