This is one my absolute fave songs. I am not a huge Madonna fan...but I always liked this album (still listen to it every once in awhile). This song, however, has aged incredibly well. Very cool and very original. Has an "It" (the song) quality to it imo. | |

I actually found the song very disappointing, and wonder if other people did when it first debuted in the 80's. I mean, they were 2 of the biggest stars on the planet, and I expected the song to be AMAZING. Instead, I found it a little disheveled, and sparse, like they weren't finished working on it. Madonna has said that they completed the song by sending tapes back and forth.That's why it has a "demo-like" sound to it.And I agree,it doesn't sound completely finished.I like it,though. | |

Hw wrote an "open letter to Madonna" in the late 90s,trying to get her to help him in his fight against Warners.She didn't respond,though.Last week,they were both at the same Oscar party,if I'm not mistaken.I wonder if they even talked to each other? | |

You're right about Keep It together though, I remember madonna confirming in an interview that P played on KIT. | |
