Rebirth of the Flesh or Le Grind?

Two of my absolute favorite opening tracks...which one do you prefer?

Rebirth Of The Flesh!!!

I love Le Grind, don't get me wrong, but Rebirth Of The Flesh has this wonderful, cult quality to it.

Rebirth of the Flesh is my favorite Prince song.
When non-Prince fans ask me that question, I love the look on their faces because I don't say "Purple Rain" or something they've heard of. confused
Hell, some fans look at me like that. I've loved it since the 1st time I heard it on a bootleg with a "skip" in the song. cool

Rebirth is great, but WAY over-rated, IMO it's the weakest link on the Camille album.

Rebirth of the Flesh. Even if it's about Jesus and Le Grind would be more directly about fucking.

Le Grind by a mile...I never have been a big fan of Rebirth of the Flesh. I agree with whoever said its the weakest of the Camille tracks. Le Grind is a PARTY jam.

Apples and Oranges, one is a party, and one is a dark crazy call to something... both are "GREAT" - Tony the Tiger.

A very good quality "Rebirth of The Flesh" MP3 was released by "T" the bootleg king a year or so ago for the first time. Far surpassing even his own previous "Camille" album bootleg one.

He still hasn't released the full quality wave file.

I was gonna say "Rebirth" hand down, but as I thought about "LeGrind," I have to confess it's not soooo bad either.

Still, where LeGrind TRIES to be funky with the gimicky lyrics, the deliberately thumpy bass and the syncopated beat, Rebirth is just raw! It's there, take it or leave it! And I'll take it! lol

I have to confess I'm biased, though. As an entire album stuck in sexual oblivion goes, "Rock Hard in a Funky Place" just blows away everything on the BLACK ALBUM in my mind. LeGrind is a mere casualty in its wake.

Wow I thought I was the only one? Both kick ass.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
