I'm putting together a 3121 remix album... I took out Beautiful, Loved, and Blessed and added Guitar. I also replaced 3121, Black Sweat, Love, and Fury with remixes. Any other suggestions? Any remixes I'm missing? Remixes that are better than the ones I have?? Help me out!

how about the remix thing he played at the versace show that had the updated part of around the world in a day in it. y'know just after he screams "i think i wanna dance". i would use that in place of lolita.

You could also include the original version of "The Dance" from the music club, and possibly even live tracks if you wanted to go that direction (i.e. Fury from SNL)

I have seen numerous DJ mixes from the album, including:

Black Sweat (ATOMS Got Some Ripe Pits Mix) 7:51

Black Sweat (extended DJ mix) 6:28

Love (Skatin' Fast Mix) 5:19

Plus you could also consider:

Fury (remix) -- this is the "video" version with the female vocals more to the fore

Song of the Heart (it's the same "era" of Prince music, though not associated with the original album very closely)

Like I said, they're all DJ mixes, so it's not like Prince had any involvement at all. They're mainly dance-type mixes with samples from other tracks mixed in. The "skatin' fast" mix of "Love" is by far the best -- it takes the tempo of the song up just a hair while not adjusting the pitch of the instruments and vox. Makes the original sound a bit slow in comparison. I actually like it better than the album version now.

I'm still trying to get a perfect 3121 CD mix... With all of the snow in Minnesota and with not being able to go into work for two days, you'd think I would have been able to get something together! The first disc that I did, which didn't work that great:
