Needless to say, though, I think he's gotten more grounded since his "evolution" after the slave days.

I think he was a little more arrogant in his younger days than he is now.

His arrogance is nothing compared to what you hear in some songs played today 'ghetto fabulous' is still hot in some circles....He's a true Prince and he's also very humble listen to the words in Beautiful Young and Blessed...

Prince has never beeen so humble and friendly.

He signed a $100 million contract, thinking he could deliver a multi-platinum album at will. When he failed to do so he vilified his studio, changed his name, released spiteful records, and wrote 'slave' on his face.

You can call that arrogance, hubris, getting too big for your britches, or just plain being full of yourself.

90s Prince is very instructional for other aspiring artists. It's a cautionary tale of what NOT to do after you've made a name for yourself. He did everything wrong that decade, his ego was out of control and his music reflected the chaos and insanity of his inner life.

yeah, he's full of himself at times. depends which twin is out. sometimes he acts humble. as he's said, he's a contradiction. but sure, he can definately be arrogant & full of himself.
