12 Stone - what is this Prince song? I have an mp3 labeled 12 Stone and Prince is singing. Does anyone know if this is an outtake or cover version or what? Thanks. | |

The song "Stone" is an Emancipation-era outtake. Aparently a collaboration of sorts with Sandra St. Victor. I'm guessing the "12" part is just the track number that someone has added to the title? Great tune! Toejam @ Peach & Black Podcast: http://peachandblack.podbean.com

The song isn't called Stone. It's correct title is Nothing Left 2 Give. It's really nothing earth shattering just a half decent throw away of a song.
I'm sometimes left a gasp at some of the songs people declare as classics. Why or so many Fans so badly informed. I'm new to this board but I have noticed so many inaccurancies. So many Fans that know so little or what they think they know is incorrect. Probably stems from memories with great big holes in them, or should I say Stupidity.
